Outdoor All-Season Houses
All-Seasons Houses are designed to house tortoises all year round outside. They are fully insulated to protect against the cold,the wind, the wet and over-heating in the sun. Colour may be different than the shade shown in the photo.
- Provides essential heating facilities for keeping your tortoises outdoors all year round and particularly when the UK has temperatures below 15 degrees C. This accounts for 8-10 months of the year.
- Large enough space to provide a good temperature gradient. Ideal for closing tortoises in overnight when below 15 degrees C outside.
- Walls, floors and roof are double walled with insulation in the cavity.
- Doors can be locked and the windows are made of security glazing with high impact resistance.
- UV polycarbonate allow UVB to filter through. Glass cannot. UVB is essential for tortoises.
- Very energy efficient housing.

They are constructed in a similar way to the Outdoor Insulated Hides apart from the sunrooms (optional), more doors and secure ventilation that can be open or shut at any time. They have extra space including enough space to house a heatlamp, UV lighting, and optional sunrooms that are suitable for semi-arid species. The sunrooms allow maximum exposure to UVB light whilst retaining heat well (polycarbonate sheeting is used) so they are suitable for keeping tortoises outdoors all year. This is particularly useful for those species which do not hibernate (for example Indian Stars and Leopard tortoises). The roof is fitted with high quality felt and the outside is painted with high quality weather-proof stain. The All-Season Houses are fully assembled on delivery apart from the large and extra large which are in two halves that slot together. Measurements are Length x Depth x Height. Sizes are approximate.
